A Boggabri family is on the way to creating a totally self-sustainable farm. Sally grows pumpkin, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, asparagus, avocado, rocket, herbs, rock melon, berries and peaches. The family has hens which provide their eggs, cattle, their beef and goats for their dairy needs. While sustainable living is a lifestyle choice, and less expensive in theory, Sally’s main motivators are her family’s health and the environment.
